• 1-Upon entering the prescription screen, choose the Speed Button to access the choices.  Most prescriptions have both generic and brand name listing.
• 2-Once the Alphabetical category has been chosen, highlight the desired medication. Doing so brings up the dosing regimens that show up at #3.
• 3-Choosing the dosing regimen here in the dosing field, places the desired regimen in the script field at #4
• 4-These three drugs comprise a multiple drug prescription
• 5-A drug that isn't in the database may be manually entered here
• 6-Viewing the prescription prior to printing, choose the screen function.
• 7-To create a re-usable template of a commonly written single drug or multi-drug prescription choose "create standard" and name as desired.  In the above case, a standard prescription template would be created for Biaxin, Robutussin, Prednisone.
• 8-If re-entering the prescription screen for a new patient, recalling a prescription template is performed by clicking here.  Double clicking the template on the Standards screen places the above regimen back in the script field.
• 9-Special prescribing instructions may be type entered here.
