3-Create a Standard template of the current record in the edit screen using this button.
4-Speed Buttons comprise the top line of small blue button.
These flip back to designated screens to edit information.  When editing a Quick Record use the three #4 selections identified by the lime green circle.   For a normal patient with a single chief complaint and diagnosis, these three areas need to have specifics changed to make the record patient specific.  Pearl-Become familiar with the pertinent positives and negatives in the ROS and PE of the top 30-40  most common diagnosis Quick Record Templates.  If you document differently, know how to change the choices, then save as your own template in your personal archive.   Pearl-If you are going to change a template to be permanently saved in your own archive you must make changes through the Speed Buttons.

5-Accesses the same fields as the speed buttons, but won't change a template for permanent archiving as a standard.  Double clicking here only enable editing of information for the current patient.
6-Double clicking here only enable editing of information for the current patient.
7-Scrolling
8-View Record as it would be printed from the current edit field.
9-Exits the current patient edit screen and returns to Main patient whiteboard.  Will suspend and save current work in progress.
10-Prints a record and sends final record to archive.  Final record can't be altered, but may have addendum placed through the archive button

When entering a Speed Button field, after the selections have been, it is IMPERATIVE, that you use the return to edit button at the top left identified by the 1.
This will then cause the pop up window seen in the middle, from which the user chooses re-build and return to edit.  This makes permanent changes to an existing template, and returns the user to the edit screen where another
Speed Button can be chosen
