Archived Patients – This button takes you to the archived patient screen.  You may then select an archived patient, create an addendum, create a correction, do a second medical record, view an archived record, print an archived record, view previous visits, view nursing notes, view medicare notes and attending notes.  Any of these actions will not change the original record.
Mult 1 – Selecting this button changes the far right “Stay” column.  Used for maintenance functions
Chief Complaint – Used by nurses to record a patient’s chief complaint
Document Patient – This button starts the physician documentation process.  Doctor’s Choice will then guide the physician through all the HCFA required screens to capture the appropriate documentation for proper reinbursement.
Attending – This button will change the “Location” column to display either the patient location or the assigned attending physician that will then review and print the medical record.
Nursing Notes – This button will display the accumulated nursing notes only
