Patient Discharge Planning Software
The YEllOW Circle indicates what archive the user wants to use to select a discharge instruction from. As noted, the hospital archive is the ER RECORDS archive by default. If a new user wishes to access the specific discharge instructions of a peer, they may do so. Or if the user has their own specific discharge instruction archive, then they can access it by choosing the User selection, and proceeding to those instructions with their three letter initials adjacent to the specific instruction. The RED circle indicates whether the choice will be in English or Spanish. The BLUE circle indicates the active choice box. By default, the primary diagnosis chosen by the user for the patient record automatically is inserted as the choice upon activating this screen. If the user chooses a different primary diagnosis, then they can either scroll, using the up-down black arrows in the right lower corner of the screen, or by utilizing the speed search at the top of the screen.
